I traveled on (13) train cars with broken A/C in the summer time, mostly on the 1 train.

I traveled on (1) bus with broken A/C, the M11.

(1) M101 bus had a roach on it, while (1) C train had a roach on it.

The various countdown clocks at the 125th Street 1 Train Station were not functioning (18) times.

I encountered (4) incidents of drug use or smoking on the subway. (2) of those were for individuals smoking cigarettes or weed inside the subway car. (1) incident was for finding needles on at a staircase at 34th Street- Penn Station. (1) incident involved a man shooting up heroin on the 1 train.

I observed (14) instances of trash throughout the system. This included:

(2) incidents of human feces on the subway platform - (1) at 34th Street -Penn Station and (1) at 125th Street 1 train station.

(1) sighting of trash and vomit at the 125th Street 2/3 Train Station.

(4) incidents of trash on the platform at the 125th Street 1 Train Station.

(4) incidents of trash on staircases - (1) at 34th Street - Penn Station, (1) at 42nd Street - Times Square, (1) at 125th Street ABCD Station and (1) at 125th Street 1 Station.

(1) bus had trash all over the floor - the M104.

(2) incidents where the platform for the uptown 1 train at 34th Street - Penn Station had a pungent odor of feces but no visible issue.

(28) incidents of graffiti, with all of them at 125th Street 1 Train Station, with the exception of (1) incident of hate speech graffiti at 79th Street 1 Train Station.

(7) incidents of broken light fixtures at 125th Street 1 Train Station - many of which have not been fixed as of today. This includes fixtures falling out of the ceiling and suspended by a single wire - a hazard to those standing under them.

(7) security issues, including (3) involving Allied Universal security guards holding the doors open for fare evasion at 125th Street ABCD Station and 36th Street Station in Brooklyn, (3) incidents of suspicious packages on the 125th Steet 1 Train Platform and (1) person spreading trash all over the platform.

(1) multi-year issue involving smashed windows at 125th Street 1 Train Station. The windows are smashed and the MTA has just boarded up over them with plastic instead of replacing them entirely.

And (1) compliment…to a friendly subway conductor making fun announcements on the 1 train to brighten everyone’s day.
